What can you find here?
What can our "Muzeion" offer to its visitors? First and foremost it is
an unconvenial area in which the usual museum warning "Don´t
Touch, Please" does not apply any more. On the contrary, all visitors
are encouraged to take part in active participation, in manipulation with
displayed objects and in games through prepared activities. What can
you find here? A nontraditional guide - a woodworm wil welcome you
right next to the museum entrance.
 
It is this little woodworm who knows our museum and a lot of things
in it really "through and through". However, this knowledgeable guide
can be even a little malicious from time to time and that is why you
cannot always depend on his correct advice.
Let´s play in our museum
You can play various museum professions under the woodworm
supervision. It means you will be able to try restorer´s work while
pasting, putting the finishing touces and reconstructing former pos-
sible ahapes of some objects.
You will be able to play at a museum researcher too and finally
you will try to organize an exhibition according to your own
proposition or you may piece together the building set of the
Castle in Mlada Boleslav here as well.
Multimedia
Later you can play a game named "Protect Historic Sights" against
the woodworm with the use of our computer with a touch screen.
You can also use the computer for searching and gaining a lot
of interesting facts about the exhibits displayed at both expositions
and about the history of Mlada Boleslav and its surroundings.

Programmes for Schools
We organize exhibition workshops and
lectures for schools in our “Muzeion”.
Besides, children can also take part in
a special two-hour programme called
“A Little Museologist -Museum Entrance Exami-
nations” which concentrates on familiarization
of children with our museum and with
its importance and functioning.
